Online Sales

Want to sell online? I know that many writers do, but are intimidated by the process. It seems complicated. Sure, it’s easy enough to stick a PayPal button onto a page, but then you need to manage delivering the content.

Over the years, I’ve tried just about every way you can think of to sell online. My hair’s grey from setting up ecommerce stores for clients.

Thank heavens, there’s an easier solution.

I’ve just described my new favorite online payments processor on the Creativity Factory Blog:

Selz is a new online payment processor, which adjusts perfectly to your needs. One of the biggest benefits of selling with Selz is that there’s no interruption to the buying process, as there can be when buyers are forced to log in to a payment processor like PayPal. Interruptions lead to lost sales.

Selz manages 190 currencies seamlessly, so no matter where you are in the world, you can use Selz, and you become a global seller.

No website? No need with Selz

You know that I believe that every writer needs a website. But what if you don’t have one? With Selz, you don’t even need a site. In the above article, you can see that I’ve added my Selz store to a Facebook page.

Want to set up Selz for your clients? Go ahead

Just this morning, I chatted with a writer who’s setting up a website for a local client who sells designer knitwear. She wanted to know which shopping cart she should investigate for the site. I recommended that she get the client set up on Selz. Easy. No hassles or drama for anyone.

You can do that too. If you’re creating a small website for a client, it takes just minutes for them to be able to sell online using Selz.

(BTW, I should mention that I have no connection to Selz, I’m just happy with their service.)
